Coaching, Mentoring and 'Menching'
We are passionate about the importance and benefit of coaching. The CIPD identified coaching and mentoring as one of the three most effective methods for talent development in their most recent National Research Survey. We recognise emerging trends which confirm the benefit of developing strategically aligned coaching, mentoring and talent management strategies in the current challenging economic climate. We know it can provide a sound and cost effective method of developing and realising talent.
What is 'Menching'?
The term 'Menching' is the combination of the practice of coaching and mentoring, strategically aligned.
We worked in association with Asset Skills, funded through UKCES, to develop the 'Menching Model'. The model was the result of a coaching and mentoring pilot project that initially supported talent management in the four Housing Associations involved in the pilot. A team of coaches and mentors tried, tested and modified the model, resulting in a seven stage approach to developing your talent through the practice of coaching and mentoring.
